Pinewood Springs adult mental health services
The adult mental health program at Pinewood Springs offers inpatient treatment options, as well as partial outpatient services for those with mood, thought and co-occurring disorders that make coping with everyday life more challenging. There are countless reasons a person may find him or herself in need of inpatient care for mental or behavioral health concerns. Often, seeking treatment offers stabilization in a supportive, therapeutic environment and can provide the foundation for the recovery process. It also can remove stressors and complications from daily life so that the patient can focus fully on recovery.
Inpatient services at Pinewood Springs
Patients at Pinewood Springs will have access to our team of caring staff who will work in collaboration to create a personalized treatment plan. In addition to completing an assessment to determine the level of care needed, our team will develop an individualized plan to address the patient’s unique needs. These tailored plans will include individual and group therapy, as well as a plan for transitioning back to daily life.
Some of the conditions we treat include but are not limited to:
- Mood disorders such as depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder
- Thought disorders including schizophrenia and disorders with psychotic features
- Co-occurring disorders
Our programs and therapies are centered around the idea that mental illness is treatable in a therapeutic and supportive environment. Our staff at Pinewood Springs, including physicians, counselors and dieticians are dedicated to working seamlessly together to create an individualized plan for every patient we treat. Our staff will also work with you and your family to help you understand the symptoms of your illness, factors that led to hospitalization, and how to prevent future relapses.
Our Pinewood Springs outpatient services are designed to help patients successfully transition from an inpatient setting to daily life, or if they have trouble dealing with a crisis situation and do not meet the criteria for inpatient treatment. These sessions will allow individuals to learn self-management techniques, check in with staff members, discuss new challenges they face after discharge and prevent re-hospitalization. Both our inpatient and outpatient services are housed on the same campus, so that individuals can choose to participate in a program on the day of discharge, or can be easily referred to the program during the check in process.
